CICADAS

Artist and illustrator Karina Dobreva presents "Cicadas" - a project dealing with the idea of the human body and mind trying to hide in the night, merging with the surrounding space. Cicadas are invisible creatures, a symbol of the mystery of the summer nights.

The works are painted in black pen, iridescent with shades of petrol purple and grey, on thin, constantly tearing paper. The materials used are fragile and impermanent - just like the states one can fall into during such experiences.

The exhibition can be visited between 05-12 January, between 16:30 and 19:30.
